Experiential marketing is a scrappy industry that professionals don’t necessarily study, but fall into. It means our industry is filled with diverse voices and backgrounds. It also means there’s a lack of educational resources to understand how experiences go from idea to IRL.

Here’s my thesis: we design and create better when we know how things are made.

The Rookie Move field trip is a 4-stop production tour that takes you behind the scenes of how experiential marketing works.

Join us for a full-day experience to visit some of NY’s best vendors — shop floor tours, presentations about capabilities and best work practices, and candid conversations about production that most people only learn on the job.

  2. Custom fabrication — how 3D designs go from sketch to shop floor

  4. AV capabilities — equipment, set up, projection mapping

  5. Catering & hospitality — production timelines and what it takes to feed a crowd on-site

  6. Working with vendors — how to brief, collaborate, and get the best work out of your partners
